Randy Pagel has conducted at Carnegie Hall in New York City, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D. C., and Orchestra Hall in Chicago, and at state, division, and national conventions for both the American Choral Directors Association and the Music Educators National Conference. He conducts many honor choirs, clinics, and workshops around the country in the area of Junior High/Middle School Choral Music. His Ritchie Valens Medley (advertisement/brochure) is published by the Hal Leonard Corporation, and he is the author of the top-selling book,
The Choral Director's Guide to Sanity...and Success!
published by the Heritage Music Press. He produced the music for the music video "Love Sees No Color" which was played at the Cannes Film Festival in France.

Pagel has received numerous awards for teaching at local, state, and national levels. Originally from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, where he was awarded the “Boy of the Year” twice, and presented the “Key to the City”, Pagel is an “Outstanding Young Alumnus” from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, is in Oshkosh North High School’s “Hall of Fame” and Clark County School District’s “Excellence in Education Hall of Fame”. “Randy Pagel Day” was proclaimed in both Henderson, Nevada, and Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
